The Danada House is located in central DuPage County, which is close by Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. It has a rich heritage with deep roots in the community. The 1,350 acres were originally owned by Daniel and Ada Rice in the 1930s. They created a sprawling home with a 26 stall horse stable and full-sized racetrack. In fact, the 1965 Kentucky Derby winner found a home at this farm. In 1980, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County bought the home and 780 acres surrounding it. The entire area has been preserved and maintained to hold onto its rustic, natural beauty. However, the entire space has a modern flair as well. It gives patrons the best of both worlds.
